Phil Berman is a singer/songwriter and arts educator in Cambridge, MA. He is the Music Director for Rock and Roll Daycare where he currently teaches group music classes and coordinates music programming, guest artist appearances, and early childhood music research and development. His original 13-episode live puppetry series for young children Puppet Playtime ran for four years at Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, MA and still tours around to children’s festivals and private functions throughout New England. He has performed in plays, operas, and musicals around Boston with Central Square Theater, Company One, Liars & Believers, and Fresh Ink, and has toured internationally with The Joshua Show. He released his debut record The Battle of Bunker Hill in 2015 and is currently gigging around the Northeast with his folk/cabaret band Phil Berman & the Flying Leap. He earned his BFA in Theater Arts from Boston University, and is working toward his certification in Dalcroze Eurhythmics through Longy School of Music and Winchester Community Music School. www.philberman.net
